Celebration of World Environment Day:
On the occasion of World Environment Day, CCC organized Drawing Competition on ‘ENVIRONMENT AND POLLUTION’ among the school students of 10 schools under the age group of 10. Medicinal plantation programme was held inside Regional college premises where plants like Neem, Aloevera, Amla, Tulsi etc were planted. Posters were distributed among the college student.
An Art Competition amongst the school children of Anand Mission Ashram orphanage at Patia, BBSR. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the competition.


International Girl Child Day:
UN and Child Rights and You (CRY) have derived from the 2011 census
that: One in 13 girls never survives beyond six years of age.
As a matter of serious concern, inspired CCC have done its part on the 24th of September. A small programme on ‘Save the Girl Child’ was organised at OAS Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. Women from urban slum participated and got information about various alarming statistics like Sex Ratio (of different age groups), etc. The participants seemed to understand the seriousness of the scenario. Our chief functionary has been instrumental in providing educational support to 30 school going girls from different urban slums.
In the evening, an Inter District Meet had been organised with co-operation by the Inner Wheel Club, BBSR, where prominent women of almost all the Dists gathered and discussed on various possible solution majors and related activities to save the girl child and improvise sex ration of the state.


World Consumer Rights Day:
On the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day on 15th March, CCC organized a rally of school students. Students carried placards and banners containing consumer awareness message and Marched to Jayadev Bhawan were a programme was organized by the Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department, Govt of Odisha.


Gandhi Jayanti & Prabhat Pheri:
A Prabhat Pheri with chanting of Ram Dhun was arranged by CCC on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at Benupur village of Balianta Block. A debate competition was held, where 65 school students (in the Age Grp. of 5 to 8 Yrs) participated. Competition was held for senior and junior groups and three prizes for each group were distributed. The teacher in charge of the competition Mrs. Pushpanjali Mohanty was felicitated and around 100 school students participated and gave the Ram Dhun slogan. It was highly appreciated by local people.


Plantation Programme:
CCC organized a plantation programme at Bhingarpur village. Around 150 students from the local schools have participated in the programme. More than 1000 saplings were planted by the Local SHG members. Medicinal plants like Neem, Brahmi, Amla, Bidanga, Haldi and Tulsi were planted. During the programme CCC also planted trees on the road side too.


World Labour Day:
1ST May was observed as Labour Day at Baramunda Bus stand. All the members gathered there and a meeting was held where 50 child labours was attended. Chairman, Project implementation committee Mr. Rakesh Dash delivered a speech against child labour. Leaflets and a written slogan protesting child labour, were distributed there. Secretary Niharika Mishra inspired the children not do the work but to continue their studies in formal schools for their better future.
